Meal Duties

Parents are required to help at all meal times with food service and supervision. The possible roles depend on your rostered shift (see below).

Parents' meals are not catered during Band Camp (except for parents staying overnight who will be provided dinner and breakfast). 

Please bring your own food and drinks. These can be stored at Band Camp Central in a cooler bag and consumed while the children are in rehearals/tutorials.

Morning and Afternoon Tea

• Organise children into band groups (4 people)

• Supervise handwashing (2 people)

• Food set up, food service and pack up (4 people): a trolley of supplies will be left outside the Dining Room

• Queue coordination (2 people)

• Supervision of children (remaining parents)

Lunch and Dinner

• Organise children into band groups (4 people - head into Dining Room when all children inside)

• Supervise handwashing (2 people)

• Food service (4-5 people): report to CRU kitchen staff who will guide you

• Queue coordination (2 people)

• Supervision of tables (2 people)

• Guide children to return plates to kitchen after eating (1-2 people)

• Door guards (1 person per door - 2 people)

• Coffee station guard (1 person)

• Clean tables after meal (3 people)

• Supervision of children outside Dining Hall (remaining parents)
