One of the highlights of Band Camp is the Saturday night - an evening of entertainment with two main areas: a Disco Party and a Games Room.
The children can choose how they spend the evening according to their idea of fun - dancing and singing, playing games, or a bit of both.
Junior and Intermediate Bands will attend for one hour, and Performance Band will have an additional half an hour.
The theme this year is 'Glow' so bring on your neon, glowing outfits and accessories!
Themed clothing and costumes are popular but not compulsory. Children should wear what they feel most comfortable in, whether it be their usual clothes, or themed.
Please note: no dangerous or weapon-themed props/accessories, nor food items are to be brought to camp.
The Disco Party takes place in the specially decorated 'Dance Hall' and is led by Bop til you Drop party hosts. There is lots of dancing and movement with singing and games set to the latest pop music.
A quieter Games Room is set up in the nearby Hub building. Children can spend their evening here or take a quiet break away from the disco. It includes a range of card games, board games and books.
If you would like to help on our Disco committee, the Disco shift runs between 5pm and 9pm on Saturday night. It involves transporting decorations from TPS, setting up the Disco, taking all the decorations down and returning decorations to TPS.
Here is a timetable and task list for the Disco shift: Saturday Disco task list
The Disco coordinator always need helpers, so please reach out with any expressions of interest to bandcamp@tps-pandc.org.au.
