While the disco has always been great fun, not all children enjoy the loud environment. So, in 2026, we will be trying something a little different for Saturday night...
We will have a range of smaller activities on offer including a mini-disco dancing zone, a physical games zone, outdoor handball and table tennis, and a quiet room for board games and reading. And don't fear - there will still be a theme for the night with costumes and dressing up!
As in previous years, Junior and Intermediate Bands will attend for one hour, and Performance Band will have an additional half an hour.
The theme this year is yet to be announced - stay tuned!
A quieter Games Room will be set up in the nearby Hub room. Here students can take a quiet break away from the disco, and play board games, card games, Lego or read a book. A range of games and books will be available or children can bring their own.
Due to the changes happening in 2026, the Disco Committee role may change. Stay tuned for more information.

If you would like to help on our Disco committee, the Disco shift runs between 5pm and 9pm on Saturday night. It involves transporting decorations from TPS, setting up the Disco, taking all the decorations down and returning decorations to TPS.
Here is a timetable and task list for the Disco shift: Saturday Disco task list
